Göta Canal is one of Sweden's largest buildings of all time, and one of the biggest tourist attractions. This cycle map starts in the west by Lake Vättern and Motala and extends to Lake Roxen and all the way to little Mem where the canal empties into Slätbaken and the Baltic Sea. The cycling along the canal is mostly flat and offers charming views of boat traffic and a narrow Östergötland landscape. The bicycle map also includes many of the cities in Östergötland dating from the Middle Ages. Bicycle map Göta Kanal provides a detailed picture of the cycle paths in the area.
In the northern part of the map sheet, there are cities such as Motala, Vadstena, Skänninge, Mjölby and Linköping. On the southern part of this cycle map are Söderköping, Åtvidaberg and Valdemarsvik in the southeast.
